Near and Far

We had a  ladies day out.  We made some damper, cooked Kangaroo tails and did some ochre painting

Magda brought her crowbar to hunt for sand frogs.  The locals love eating frogs.  Fortunately for the frogs she didn't find any

We had a long, long weekend.  2 other teachers and I headed to Kunanarra which is 7 hours away from Balgo.  Sitting eating tea at the Pump House I couldn't resist another sunset.

This pool behind me is called a Infinity pool and it is at the Lake Argyle Caravan Park.

Heading out for a sunset cruise on Lake Argyle.  A lovely evening with a touch of champers!!

Yes, another sunset!

On the way home we were stopped by the police for a breath test.  The police man was so nice, he told us to pop in for a cuppa the next time we were going past!

Loaf 3 and finally I think I have got it right.

Unfortunately with a second suicide in community, Magda had to again make some paint for our foreheads to show our respect at 'Sorry' camp

The kids are very proud of their pencil cases donated by some amazing Girton parents.

Cooking last week was wraps.  We made one for Barry, the principal. The kids were really happy to take it to him.
